Desi Nordic Lifestyle

Terms and Conditions

Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your session

Nothing renews automatically, the price you see is the price you pay, and your consumer rights stay in place. Here’s the whole agreement, in plain English.

1. Who we are

Desi Nordic Lifestyle is run by Jayesh Khatri and Katharina Khatri, a sole trader business (enskild firma) registered in Sweden. Email: hello@desinordic.com.

These terms apply when you use the site, create an account, book a session or buy anything from us. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • One account per person. Memberships and purchases are for your own use and can’t be shared or resold.

3. Coaching is not medical advice

We give general nutrition, training and lifestyle guidance. We are not doctors, and nothing on Desi Nordic Lifestyle — the recipes, calculators, meal plans, videos or calls — is medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment.

Speak to your doctor before changing your diet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, or have a medical condition such as diabetes, heart, kidney or thyroid disease, or PCOS — and stop and get medical help if you feel unwell. Check every recipe’s ingredients against your own allergies. Results differ from person to person and we can’t promise a particular result.

4. What we offer

  • Free: the planning tools, free recipes, and a 15-minute intro call.
  • 1:1 coaching sessions — a 60-minute video call with one of us, paid per session.
  • Yearly coaching — 365 days of a monthly 30-minute call, weekly check-ins with written feedback, progress tracking, and every premium recipe, video and meal plan. Unused monthly calls don’t carry over.
  • Single recipes and meal plans — yours to view for as long as Desi Nordic Lifestyle runs.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown before you pay, in your local currency where we offer one. The price you see is the price you pay.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe (card, and UPI in India). We never see your card details.
  • Nothing renews automatically. A membership ends after its period unless you choose to pay again.
  • We may change prices for future purchases; this never changes the price of something you’ve already paid for.

6. Booking, cancelling and moving sessions

  • A session is booked once we accept it and, for paid sessions, once payment goes through.
  • Cancel more than 24 hours before the start, from your Sessions page, and we refund you in full automatically to the card or UPI account you paid with.
  • Closer than 24 hours, or if you don’t join, the session counts as used. Message us and we’ll try to move it, but we can’t promise to.
  • If we have to cancel, we refund you in full automatically, and you’re welcome to book another time.
  • If a call fails for technical reasons on our side, we rebook it free.

7. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you can usually withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because what we sell is a service or digital content that starts straight away, this works as follows:

  • Recipes, meal plans and videos: when you pay, you ask us to unlock them immediately and agree that you then lose the right of withdrawal for that content.
  • Coaching sessions: when you pay, you ask us to provide the service within the 14 days. You can withdraw before the session takes place for a full refund (see cancelling above). Once the session has been held, the right of withdrawal ends.
  • Yearly coaching: you can withdraw within 14 days of paying. We refund the full price minus a proportional amount for the days you’ve been a member.

To withdraw, email hello@desinordic.com with your name and what you bought, or cancel a session from your Sessions page. We refund within 14 days, using the same payment method.

8. Our content and yours

The recipes, photos, videos, meal plans and text on Desi Nordic Lifestyle belong to us. You can use them for your own cooking and planning, but please don’t copy, publish, sell or share paid content.

Ratings, check-ins and anything else you send us stay yours. You give us permission to use them to run the service — for example to show an average recipe rating. We never publish your words or photos under your name without asking.

9. Fair use

Don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break in, scrape it, get around the paywall, or harass us or anyone else on a call. We may suspend or close an account that does — and if we close it without good reason, we refund the unused part of anything you’ve paid for.

10. Our responsibility to you

We provide Desi Nordic Lifestyle with reasonable care and skill. If something we sold you isn’t as described, tell us and we’ll put it right or refund you.

We aren’t responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably foresee, for things outside our control (such as an outage at one of our providers), or for health outcomes of diet or training choices you make — see “Coaching is not medical advice” above. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using Desi Nordic Lifestyle at any time. To delete your account, email hello@desinordic.com. Paid access ends with the account. We keep payment records as the law requires (see the Privacy Policy).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add a service. We’ll change the date at the top and tell you before a significant change applies to you. The terms in force when you paid apply to that purchase.

13. Complaints and governing law

If something goes wrong, email hello@desinordic.com first — we want to fix it. If we can’t agree, consumers in Sweden can take the dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), and we will take part.

Swedish law applies and disputes are heard by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws there, and you may bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
